Huddle

Terms of Service

Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us") for using the Huddle app and huddleathome.com. By using Huddle you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Huddle.

1. Using Huddle

You need an Apple device signed in to iCloud. You're responsible for your Apple Account and for what you add to Huddle. If you add someone else's information, such as a child's schedule or a contact on a card list, you confirm you're allowed to.

2. Households and sharing

The person who creates a household stores it in their iCloud and decides who's invited. Everyone in a household can see and change what's shared with it. Only invite people you trust. If the owner removes you or deletes the household, you lose access to it.

3. Your content

What you add to Huddle is yours. It's stored in iCloud, not with us, and we don't claim any rights to it. Keeping it is up to you and iCloud: we recommend using Huddle's export now and then, since we can't restore data we never had.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Huddle to break the law, to harass anyone, or to store content you don't have the right to share. Don't try to reverse engineer, disrupt or misuse the app, its invite links or our website.

5. Huddle Plus

Huddle Plus is an optional subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles billing, renewals and refunds under its own terms. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. One subscription covers everyone in the household it was bought for. If it ends, everything you added stays, and Plus features become read-only.

6. Other services

Huddle works with services from Apple and, if you connect them, others such as Google Calendar. Their own terms apply to those services, and we aren't responsible for them. [Add later if offered: partner services such as card printing or home services, and that we may earn a fee when you use them.]

7. Changes to Huddle

We keep improving Huddle, so features may change, and we may stop offering some of them. If we ever shut Huddle down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

8. No warranty

Huddle is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that reminders and syncing will never be late or missed. Don't rely on Huddle for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medication.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Huddle in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop using Huddle at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access if you seriously break these terms.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Huddle or its support, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.

12. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY]. If we change them, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app for important changes. Using Huddle after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: damienkdev@gmail.com.
